About Us

Meet the Owner

Hello! My name is Shelle Belle, practicing Witch and founder of JaxBelle Boutique. My mission is to serve fellow Witches and Spiritualists in their magical journeys. I started my own spiritual journey at a young age when I grew a love for the occult in my teenage years. That was quite a while ago!! In my 20's I took a break from my practice as life led me on a different path at that time. I picked back up shortly after my son Jackson was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He has made me see life differently, so my practice is now different as a result. I made the decision to start this business, not only to serve other Witches like myself, but also to sustain a lifestyle that fit the needs of my son. I soon realized that a typical 9 to 5 would not work for our family. Now I get to do what I love everyday, spend more time with my son, and help others in their personal practices all at the same time!

Why the Rainbow?

So if you have spent any time looking through our products you may have noticed our use of rainbow colors in our branding. Well, there are some very specific reasons for that. Let's explain.

Personal Preference

Ok, so I just like rainbows! What can I say? Witchcraft looks different for different people and there is no one-size-fits-all for what witchcraft looks like. Aesthetics play a big role in my Practice and the rainbow is just so aesthetically pleasing to me!

Color Magic

When it comes to Witchcraft, there is a ton of information out there! Think about it! How many different herbs and crystals all there? And they all have different properties and correspondences. What about Astrology? There are so many different components to it, signs, planets, houses, transits, elements, modalities. And how about different types of divination? Tarot alone has 78 cards and they all have reversed meanings. What I'm trying to get at is that sometimes we can get overwhelmed with the amount of information that is presented to us. And while it is great to have reference books to help us, books can only get us so far in our practices. At some point, intuition has to come into play. For me, color magic plays a big part in my Practice because I feel intuitively connected to it because colors spark emotion!

Duality

I get that witchcraft is not all rainbows and sunshine (pun intended). But have you ever seen a rainbow after it hasn't rained? Of course not! Rainbows only appear after a rainstorm. There is so much symbolism in the rainbow that often gets overlooked. To me the rainbow is the perfect symbol when it comes to duality. So don't get it twisted, just because I like rainbows doesn't mean that I'm just a "love and light" practitioner. I embrace the dark just as much as I embrace the light.

Autism Acceptance

The rainbow ribbon often symbolizes Autism Awareness. Being an Autism parent has been the most challenging and most rewarding thing I have ever done and will continue to do. Promoting acceptance is something that is very important to me! I can't speak for everybody who practices, but I have noticed that a lot of us in the witchcraft community are also neurodivergent in some way. Is there a correlation between the two? I'm not really sure to be honest. What I do know is that my son's level of intuition is out of this world. He has absolutely taught me a thing or two when it comes to Practice!

LGBTQ+ Community

Love is Love and gender is a spectrum. What more can I say?
